Cult tries to explore the depths of young love and emotional conflict but falters under the weight of outdated storytelling. Zaid Khan delivers a sincere and committed performance, bringing authenticity to his character and giving the film its few genuine moments of emotional resonance. Despite his effort, the narrative relies heavily on clichés and problematic ideas
about relationships that feel out of place in modern cinema. The supporting cast struggles to leave an impact, and the screenplay offers little beyond predictable twists and uninspired dialogue. Visually, the film shows occasional flashes of style, but even the cinematography cannot rescue a story that seems stuck in the past.
