Xiaomi has officially announced the launch date for its highly anticipated Redmi Turbo 5 Series. The new lineup will be unveiled on January 29 2026 in China and includes both the standard Redmi Turbo 5 and the powerful Turbo 5 Max. The Turbo 5 Max will stand out with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset offering flagship level performance in the midrange segment.
One of the highlights of the Turbo 5 Max is its massive 9000 mAh battery which supports 100 watt fast charging and 27 watt reverse wired charging. This ensures extended usage without frequent charging. The device will also feature an OLED display with high peak brightness and eye protection technology along with an under display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for added security and convenience.
The design of the Turbo 5 Max has been revealed in striking color options and includes minimal side bezels and a dual camera setup. The standard Turbo 5 will launch alongside the Max variant and is expected to offer a slightly smaller battery and a different chipset aimed at balanced performance and endurance.
Xiaomi has not confirmed international availability yet but the series could be rebranded for other markets as seen in the past
