Google Gemini Introduces Personal Intelligence for Smarter Data Integration

Google has unveiled a new upgrade to its Gemini AI called Personal Intelligence which allows the AI to access and understand your personal data from Google apps to provide more tailored and context aware responses. This feature can connect Gemini with Gmail Google Photos YouTube history and Google Search history allowing the AI to combine information from multiple sources to give answers that are relevant to your preferences and past activity.

Personal Intelligence is optional and users must choose to enable it. Google emphasizes that your data remains private and the AI does not use it to train its models. Users have full control over which apps are linked and can revoke permissions at any time. The AI can reference emails photos and past searches to help with tasks such as planning trips managing schedules or recalling details you may have forgotten.

The feature is currently rolling out in beta for Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers in the United States and works across web Android and iOS platforms. Google positions Personal Intelligence as a step toward more personalized AI experiences leveraging the companys ecosystem to deliver smarter and more helpful responses while keeping user privacy intact.
