Indian Startups Raise Sixty Eight Million Dollars in Funding This Week


Indian startups have raised a total of sixty eight million dollars in funding this week, highlighting continued investor interest across multiple sectors. Nineteen startups successfully closed funding rounds between January five and January nine, although the total is lower than the one hundred four million dollars raised the previous week.

Leading the week’s funding activity was Even Healthcare, which secured twenty million dollars from investors including Lachy Groom, Alpha Wave Global, and Sharrp Ventures. The healthtech sector was a major contributor, with two startups in this space raising over twenty million dollars collectively.

In the space and technology sector, Hyderabad based TakeMe2Space raised five million dollars in seed funding led by Chiratae Ventures, along with participation from Unicorn India Ventures, Artha Venture Fund, and SeaFund. The funding will support the expansion of its satellite constellation and development of advanced space technologies.

Other notable funding rounds included Bengaluru based Spector.AI, which raised six point seven million dollars from IvyCap Ventures to develop AI solutions for businesses, and Aivar, which secured four point six million dollars in a seed round led by Sorin Investments and Bessemer Venture Partners to expand globally.

Ecommerce and direct to consumer startups also contributed to the week’s total, raising nearly ten million dollars collectively.
